National Nutrition Month Snack Well Challenge

Can you believe it’s March? The beginning of March means that spring is only a few weeks away, which, in my mind means that summer will be here before we know it! I’ve been getting my skin summer ready for a few weeks now, and with bikini season right around the corner, I’ve been doing what I can to get my body ready as well. We all know that abs are made in the kitchen and March is National Nutrition Month, so I’m giving my body the attention it deserves and monitoring what I put into it.

Join LiveLifeWell for a healthy snacking challenge in honor of National Nutrition Month

According to the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition, Americans eat less than the recommended amounts of fruit, veggies, whole grains, dairy products, and oil. We also eat more solid fats, added sugars, refined grains, and saturated fats than we should on a daily basis. Although the specific serving suggestions are going to vary based on your gender, age, weight, and height, one glance at the food pyramid shows us that we should be putting less crap and more whole, natural foods into ur bodies.
